The following are a few tips from our Aspen Lane techs about creating safe passwords.
- Using farfetched words, letters, and symbols are more secure than using grandma's name or any other info that could be attached to you by a Google search or other online info.
- If you're using a password manager, let it generate passwords for you.
- If a password needs to be memorized, use a random word generator to pick 3 short words and a random number and a symbol. Capitalizing the words makes it easier to read. Avoid putting in words that are hard to give over the phone like "Fifty" or "Space".
